Within women’s health practices, it is recommended that women undergo a medical examination at least once a year.

The tests that should normally be performed are: Pelvic, Intravaginal, Papa Nicolaou, among others, such as HIV, BP and Cholesterol.

Men should also have annual exams to detect possible prostate cancer, hypertension, diabetes, weight and obesity, and other possible diseases.

For both men and women, some of these exams are invasive, intimidating and, in some cases, the patient feels that they are losing their PRIVACY.
